History of Elizabeth.
The last ever Tudor to rule England was Elizabeth I. She was born on the 7th September 1533 at Greenwhich Palace. When Elizabeth was born, her whole life was going to be turned upside down. Henry VIII had changed the whole of his country's history in order to marry the love of his life,Anne Boleyn. Anne did have a son but he was stillborn. Then eventually Henry VIII grew tired of Anne and insisted of her being executed. Anne was beheaded in the Tower Green on before Elizabeth was 3 years old.
Elizabeth's mother was arrested and executed after being at court for Christmas (and it was the last time she saw her mother). Henry remarried (Jane Seymour) and eagerly waited for the son he hoped . As it turned out, Jane gave Henry a son that he had been longing for, Edward (future Edward VI). After Edward was born Jane died within less than a fortnight of his birth. This made Elizabeth and Edward half siblings.
